Associate Professor Neil Foster will address the legal implications for church ministry arising from pending legislative changes.
Implications for Pastoral Care
Matt Aroney, senior associate minister at South Head parish, will speak about how we might maintain and express a proper pastoral concern for those under our care in the midst of ongoing changes. Rob Smith and Bishop Michael Stead will also contribute their reflections by way of a panel discussion.
Living Faith Update
We’ll meet Living Faith’s newest staff member, Simon Swadling, and hear about a youth resource he is developing for churches. The resource is aimed at helping young believers think theologically about how following Jesus might shape their sense of self (identity), with specific reference to questions of gender incongruence and sexuality.

Our Venue
We'll be holding the conference at Village Church Annandale, which is located at 122 Johnston Street, Annandale, NSW 2038. Free parking is available on the surrounding streets.

The church is serviced by the 470 bus, which travels from Central Station to Lilyfield. It is also a 10-minute walk from the corner of Parramatta Road and Johnston Street.
